Someone asked a similar question on the other boards and was told to stay away from hotdogs (real and fake) during the weightloss phase because of the carbs and additives. I was sort of surprised because in my eyes a fake hot dog isn't much different from a boca burger.

That said, I think it's up to you. I wouldn't do it often if it were me, but if I had a wicked craving for a hot dog I'd rather give in to something with these numbers than the full fat greasy kind with a bun.

Hmmm, I don't really think that looks horrible. The big problem I see is that there isn't enough calories.

It would be kind of nice to have something like that every once in a while.

I have had 3 Hebrew National 97% FF Kosher Beef Franks as the meat in my L&G. Although I will say, I got tired of that real quick with all of the salt, and it just isn't the same as a nice hot dog with all the juicy fat. ;)
I would say if you need to have that hot dog fix, then the 97% or the FF ones are okay, just don't make it a regualr thing, because the sodium content is high. Cheers :toast:

...and 5 oz of hot dog is a lot of hot dog! Notice Mike said 3 of 'em. I had the pleasure of weighing and repackaging. As far as quality proteins go,...

Let me just add, more than a day or two of that means a trip to stock up on PEPTO
