You guys are SO awesome!

Thanks so much to whoever noticed I was already in the ten pound club, you guys are great and it is good to know I'm being taken care of :D

Today was my "official" weigh in, I'm doing Mondays because I like to start my week off knowing what my goals are, so I run downstairs and hop on the scale (which is right next to the trash can, motivation???).

I'm down 13 pounds in one week!

I know the weight loss won't be like this always, but dang! I'm still a bit lethargic, I'm hoping it will pass soon :D

Can anyone suggest what good goals are? I've been thinking 20 pound increments as my goal, then slowing down to 10 and then 5 pound increments once I get closer to my goal. So it would look something like:

327/307/287/267/247/237/227/207/202/197/192/187/182/180

Do you think that's sane? I don't want to put too much pressure on myself, I already have a lot :P

5eh 13 lbs in week one is awesome! You are doing excellent!!

Unlike some I felt fine the first 3 days but woke up day 4 feeling very lethargic. My arms felt so heavy it was a chore just to lift them! I added bullion to my diet, but day 5 & 6 didn't bring much change. I started taking a multi vitamin daily and I began spacing my meals about 2 1/2 hours apart. Guess what...now I feel great and I never feel hungry unless I slip and forget to eat. If you aren't taking a daily vitamin that may be something you want to consider.

That is a GREAT idea...I've been drinking a ton of water, so I'm probably losing nutrients as well as fat. Thanks so much for the encouragement and the idea!!

You did have a super first week weight loss and it makes us all insanely jealous but very happy for you! Woo hoo!

Often we do feel a bit puny the first few days or so and yes; it can be a result of all those trips to the BR. Our electrolytes can get unbalanced and having a packet or two of the Medifast Fast soup (The Fast Soup is not a complete meal replacement but rather a snack) or else a cup or two of bouillon will do the trick to replenish them. The Fast Soup is especially good because it also contains some potassium. People who have high blood pressure and take diuretics can be especially prone to feeling weak or washed out as their fluids get flushed out so rapidly.

Each of our packets contains all 24 essential vitamins and minerals. However, some people prefer to take a daily multiple vitamin. I personally take an Omega 3 Fish Oil and an Oil of Evening Primrose capsule/day. Your physician or health care professional can assist you in this area.

I've always had problems with keeping potassium in my body, I get nighttime cramps in my calves. I will start taking a multivitamin tomorrow and see how that helps! Thank you for the great information!

The Fast Soup may be just what you need to prevent crampage!
