Use this as a substitute for sour cream and/or cream cheese. It’s easy to make and tastes fabulous!
3 cups plain, non-fat yogurt
herbs, spices, garlic, etc. (optional)
Spoon the yogurt into a coffee filter (or cheesecloth-lined strainer) and place over a bowl. Refrigerate, covered, for at least 5 hours (soft consistency, like sour cream), or 2 days (firm consistency, like cream cheese). Enjoy with MF crackers or veggies. Experiment with herbs and spices for a flavored cheese, or add it to the MF chili.
