I bought a beginners yoga cd, and tried it. I thought I was going to die...

decided I would be better off finding a class, or I will be like that commercial...

Help me, I'm in a knot and I can get out.....

Tiolazz, did find a class you like? There seems to be a bunch of different styles out there. I got a DVD that was a combo yoga and pilates so I'm going to try it out today.

I bought Crunch Super Slim Down, Pilates Yoga Blend and I thought it was pretty good for a beginner. I will probably look for another one that is a little higher intensity, but I really like the moves in this one and will probably do it in the mornings. Plus the instructor does a good job keeping you in sync.

My mom bought me a DVD "Yoga for beginers" I haven't tried it yet BUT one of my sons bought me the one that McDonalds has. My daughter and I did it after work...was interesting. That was my first time doing Yoga and I can say that I will do it again tomorrow.

Thanks Elke. I'll check it out. I'm going to Blockbuster to see if I can rent a bunc before I buy.

Hi

I have Yoga for beginners and abs yoga for beginnners. They're both out of the plastic wrap and everything. I'm not quite DOWN with it yet, but I do like my pilates stuff. My friend has yoga for dummies, but I haven't watched it yet!

dede4wd, check out the Crunch DVD. It's a good combo of Yoga and Pilates and has a fairly decent abs section. Majority of it is Yoga, but I like it because I'm always so bad about stretching before I run so it's a good change for me.
