Yet another Season of...

Postby blondeangel7782 » August 14th, 2007, 11:32 am

BIGGEST LOSER!! I'm so inspired by the folks on this show they have so much going against them it's amazing to sit and watch them push through so many obstacles, Usually I'm sitting on the double stuffed leather sofa just pigging out watching them do all the work! This year I will be having some water and a L&G or supplement! I'm going to use this season to my advantage and weigh in with them every Tuesday (except mine will be in the am) Who else is totally inspired by this show and it's contestants and will be joining in?

I didn't know which choice to pick in the poll - I like this show, but I TiVo it so that I can just fast forward to the weigh-in part. Some things I like, but I'm rarely in the mood to watch the whole thing. I do love seeing the progress of the contestants, though, and I love the final show of the season when they all come back and look great! I agree with you, too, it will be nice this season to feel their happiness and not just empathize with their pain, sitting on the couch eating pizza thinking "I should do something like they all are."

I love reality shows like that anyway, so sure, I'm a fan. I like to work out while I watch (I TiVo it, too) because it makes me work harder.

I'm going to try out Fat March this week, too. I recorded it (at least, I think I did) but haven't watched it yet.

I believe the 15th of Sept, but I could be wrong.

By the way, Fat March? Not so much. Way more about the drama, less about the weight loss.

I agree Robin. Maybe there's more going on behind the scenes, but it doesn't appear that they are taking much time to teach the walkers anything about health and fitness. It looks like they've just taken a group of overweight people, give them a day's worth of food and say now we are going to go walk our butts off today.

Honestly, 12 & 13 miles after sleeping in a tent. I think that would be grueling even for people without weight problems.

And in some pretty bad heat, it looked like. And the woman who just basically refused to drink water for two days, till she collapsed? That's just crazy.

I used to watch the Biggest Loser just to see how fat I looked. I knew I couldn't trust my mirror so I would look at the women who weighed what I did but would still be in denial. Nooooooo....I don't look that big!

I agree, Fat March isn't that great a show about weight loss.

I think everyone who loves the Biggest Loser ought to add a Biggest Loser type pic to their studio pics. I am tired of being the only one half way naked around here.
