17 years old looses 35 lbs

Postby Terri » July 8th, 2005, 2:51 pm

I just have to brag on our 17 years old - It has been five weeks and he has lost 35 lbs.
How do you ask? - Well he had a "why" we are planning a trip to Cabo - and he wasn't willing to swim with his shirt on one more summer. :D
He commited himself to the 5 and 1 - and boy was he good!!
He did this during school, on weekends with friends and when we were not around.
He is on the 3rd phase of transistion and we are so impressed -

He was willing to trade his love of Carbo's for desire of love of Cabo.

What ever it takes - FIND THAT WHY!!!!

We are so happy - he is now within a healthy weight - looks and feels good.
That was one of my "whys" - to lead by example

His name is Grant!!

Wow this is such a great program

You must be very proud of him. :hi5:

His ability to take control of his weight now will hopefully provide years of enjoyment.

Wow! That's absolutely fantastic! You must really be so proud and he must feel so much better. He's going to feel great in Cabo not having to stress about the flab.

Good for him! Tell him congratulations! He deserves it!

Terri,
That's an amazing achievement for a teenager, especially with all the peer pressure to eat junk food and fast food now a days. I know you are very proud of him and you did set a very good example and are such a good role model to him. You should be very proud of yourself also.
