Thanks amandalynn!

I had scallops, squash and some tomato for dinner last night and it was entirely too much food (soooo not a bad thing for me...lol) and I had banana pudding as my last meal. YUM!

I ended up hitting the sack early last night...I had a headache creeping up on me and I was exhausted from all my excitement of starting MF.
Woke up with a slight headache (I know this will pass) and OH MY GAWD did I have to pee pee pee last night! I must have gotten up 6 times throughout the night. :whattha:

Can't wait to get a week under my belt! :cheermed:

The potty thing DOES get a bit better. I cut off water about an hour before bed (sometimes earlier; I try to chug it during the day so I can slow down at night), and I hardly ever have to get up during the night anymore.

Sorry to be so late joining in; I have friends here from out of town, so I haven't been online much.

Congrats on your first day, though. I'm glad you like the products so much; that'll make it a lot easier!!

I actually make the chili and puddings up in large batches 6 or 7 packets at a time and they have been fine up to a week in the fridge. I actually prefer the chili after it has been made with all the seasonings and sat in the frige for 2 days it really brings out the flavors.

So don't fret, I hope you enjoy the chili it has become a favorite of mine, doctored up of course :)

You might also want to keep a few extra packets on hand at work or in your car for emergancies suck as you can't stomach the meal you brought, something goes wrong while cooking (exploding soup anyone...) or you are behind schedual and starving in the car.

Have a great first day!

OMG My soup exploded today thank god I keep a weeks worth of food in my desk! I really wanted that Cream fo brocolli too

I have a full box of Cream of Brocolli. I would be willing to trade if you are looking to get rid of something.

Sorry...I just read your inquiry about if there is a need to spend more time with the shakes than the chug-a-glug...nope, since you do not care for them. If you're not having to deal with the issue of hunger the purpose is to help us to know when to stop eating. Some of us have not been very proficient at knowing when to stop eating so eating slowly allows time for the sensation of satiety to occur. Just remember, when we reach goal, we need to eat slowly and keep up with our water intake.

Joelie ~

I'm not sure what causes the Broccoli Explosion...I know I have had to clean my microwave more times than I care to when I've nuked the Creamy Brocc. Especially when I nuked it in a styrofoam cup...el-stoo-peedoh!

I think the energy stores up in the creamy soups and then produces a mushroom cloud! Now I nuke it for a minute, stir it up real good and then nuke for another 30 seconds or so. I always make sure it is in a large mug or a soup bowl. I sure like it though.

Great, thanks for the information. I'm glad I'm not doing anything wrong.

In the Quick Start Booklet, it mentions cutting your bars into small pieces. I was shocked at how much more food it seemed like I was eating. The shakes though, I just chug-a-lug everytime.
