Thanks for the affirmation, Charity. Still, I am no more amazing than many others who have had similar accomplishments! Medifast is a great program.

I'm glad I was wrong about the gold star (thinking it was 110 instead of 100). I'm a bit envious that I won't get to have one of those (I know, that makes no sense in a way).
I look forward to congratulating you on hitting your goal---Soon!

That graphic is pretty accurate!
But....I'll make it ~ thanks for asking.
Intense schedule - so much so that I'm taking a Shakespeare class just for a break.
My friends laugh at me and say that Shakespeare is not "light reading."
Maybe not, but it definitely isn't Biopsych or another research seminar!
Congrats again on your wonderful success!

Mary, you have done so well! 100 pounds in a year is an amazing accomplishment. I'm glad you've done this for yourself. You are such an inspiration - not just for the weight loss but for your kind words, positive outlook and for completing two degrees in the last few years. It looks like if there is something you want to do, you just go out and do it. What a fantastic example!

As you well know, MF is an outstanding program. My weight loss has slowed down considerably--but that's to be expected at this stage of the weight loss phase. I should make goal soon, probably within 11 months of my start date. Yeah, you might say that I am rather strong willed and tend to finish what I set my mind to!

You started 16 days before I did and I am so happy we have both stuck around and done well! Just think of all the people who have come and gone since November, and we're still here! I don't have a crystal ball but I hope we both reach goal by the 11 month mark!

For some people it's just not the right time for MF ... and timing, coupled with determination, is very important. However, people come and go from the forum for various reasons. I don't think it's necessarily linked to them remaining on the program. I think some people just get more out of the forum than others; some have more time on their hands; some need it more.
