Maria, I'm so sorry for your loss. My own dad died 14 years ago, and the anniversary is coming up in about two weeks. I'll never stop missing him, but it does get easier to live with. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Heartfelt condolences. I think it is SO neat that you were there with him, right until the end, by his side!

My sincere thanks to your father for his service to this country and freedom. To be buried at Arlington with full honors will be beautiful!

It sucks and you get upset and weird times and are fine at weird times. My mom just died on Easter and nothing anyone writes really makes it better for now. Eventually, yeah, but for now, I have no words for you except I know how you feel!

Hi Maria,
I am soooo sorry about your Dad. You know my own 100 year old Daddy died just a month ago. You sent me a very nice note. Thank you sooo much. Give yourself some time. I still haven't gone thru to give away my dad's clothes but will one day soon. I'm giving them to a street mission so that the clothing will help others. Remember the fun times Maria and cherish them. Your father knew how much you loved him and that was a final blessing for him. Remember also that you did the very very best thing for him. He was able to come home.
I'll be thinking about you and praying for you as well.
