I wish Medifast would make . . .

Postby Dayna » March 3rd, 2006, 10:20 am

Per Nancy's suggestion in this thread, I'm starting a wish list for Medifast. If anyone can get them to make the stuff we want, I think it would have to be Nancy! Now she can go to that Baltimore meeting armed and ready.

I wish Medifast would make vanilla pudding, RTD shakes in more flavors (strawberry would be good), and a Malt-o-Meal supplement. Okay, I'm really going out on a limb with that last one, but was right after I wrote something to that effect that Nancy suggested a list like this, so what the heck, I'll stick it in!

Who's next?

I wish they'd make pistachio pudding and some sort of pecan bar. And maybe a nutty oatmeal (like maple-walnut or something).

I wish they would make a pasta dish to have in place of the lean and green, like the tuna and chicken salad meals.

I actually liked the beef essential 1 meals so more essnetial 1 options is my request.

I'd like for Medifast to make a greasy cheeseburger and some McDonalds french fries topped off by a Baskin Robbins banana split. :chef:

Well a girl can dream can't she? :snooze:

On a serious note I would love for them to make packets out of the soy protein that can be mixed up to make pancakes, chocolate chip cookies, breads, and other baked items. I like the oatmeal pancake, oatmeal cookie, and brownie recipes but would like prepackaged ingredients to make those types of things with no recipe necessary except for 'just add water'.

The ideas submitted above all sound great too! :bananadance:

I'd just wish they'd make things sweeter with some added splenda so I don't have to keep adding my own. I also wish they'd get that Beef Stew ready to sell....mmmm mmmmm gooooood! ;)

RTDs in banana, strawberry, orange, mocha, orange-pineapple

Shakes - bring back orange pineapple, plus add a choc mint, a cherry or raspberry

Bars - bring back the berry one (with either the original choc icing, or the yogurt topping, or both) Yummy.....my very fav

More Essential 1 meals......perhaps a tuna casserole, a beef with pepper

A COOKIE that could be used like the bars are - in choc chip, oatmeal raisin

Puddings - vanilla, and cheesecake flavor, oh, and butterscotch!

OH, this is fun! Sorta like Christmas...........

Nancy get your pencil sharpened.

Ok Nancy,
You're going to need a big pad of paper and a sharp pencil. :D
The forum members are coming up with great great ideas and flavors.
We are trusting you to carry them all back to headquarters when you head off in March. By then you may need an extra carry-on to tote them along.

I always use the vanilla shakes to make vanilla pudding - you just need to add about a tblsp. of ff, sf instant jello (vanilla flavor), same amount of water, and it taste out of this world! Sometimes it tastes just like a can of vanilla frosting !

Oh, Joyce, I'm so glad they DON'T make things sweeter. I've adjusted somewhat since starting, but I never would have made it past the first week if things had tasted any sweeter. I had been low-carbing so long, the sweetness was overwhelming.

I know, but I'm lazy and I would like it to come ready to mix, no adding needed.

Ooooh, pistachio pudding would be good, too . . .

Now that I'm thinking about pudding again, I wonder how hard it would be for them to make pudding cups, like the Jello ones? I don't know what's involved to make puddings not need refrigeration, but boy oh boy, ready-to-eat pudding in a cup would be so very handy.

I was thinking the same thing! I don't know why cheesecake has been on my mind lately. Maybe a cheesecake flavored pudding.

Cheesecake pudding is relatively simple enough, especially if there is a strawberry or pineapple component to it. They make powdered cheesecake pudding, so adding the flavoring is not hard. Hmmmmm. I guess if enough people ask, they shall receive
