Can you believe it...the holiday's came and gone and we are staring February in the face.
Gosh I have been gone so long that everything looks different. I see some of the usual supects, but obviously this is a dynamic group and there are addition and subtractions with regularity.
I am jumping in just long enough to say hello and to let everyone know that I am still doing well. I fared the holidays okay, but I did go "off plan" for about 4 weeks and I obviously picked up a few pounds because of it. As of this past Monday I am back on 100% compliance and looking to pick up where I left off prior to the holiday's.
One of my New Years resolutions was to get more exercise into my life. One of the things I used to do before I got married and had the responsibility of children, a mortgage, and domestic animals, was to play racquetball 2-3 times a week. I realize that 2-3 times a week may be a little aggressive for my schedule, but I am committed to playing once a week. I have been lucky enough to get introduced to a group of people that play on Sunday mornings at a local University. So at this time I am getting at least 1 session in a week.
Random Thoughts...
When on a conference call it is important to make sure your phone microphone is muted before making a smart @ss comment about the person speaking. Or hope they don't recognize your voice.
Discussing economics with a 12 year old is a lot like teaching a pig to sing. It not only wastes your time, but it annoys the pig.
Whatever your budget is on a home improvement project....you should probably multiply the final number by 2 to be more accurate.
Don't assume a 12 year old knows where to sign their name on the back of a check.
Somedays my dog is the smartest person I know.
Anyone else a Kevin Smith fan? If you have to ask who he is then your probably not.
Well folks....that is all I have for now. I am sure there are a few of you that were shocked to see me poke my face in the room...honest Abe, I will try to get in a few more posts than what I have in the last 12 weeks or so.
See ya on the scale!
