I think instead of writing in my own journal today I will copy and paste yours into mine. I went to bed last night at 247 thinking normally my night to morning difference is 3 to 5 pounds putting me at 244(same) to 242 (down 2) as I woke what to my wondering eyes should appear? 245 YUP up a stinking stupid pound. So when you are ready to throw that scale let me know and you can fly mine with it!!

Tomorrow will be a better day and you will like the digi monster again.

I promise to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me me....My most favorite George Burns line in a movie.

I was going to wait to clear this up in tomorrow's journal update...but I decided before the rumors got too outrageous I would try to set the story "straight". Plus I couldn't figure out a way to make a puzzle out of it. I know some of you are disappointed about that.

Okay...The story is this ...I own a plethora of domain names...many humor type domains and some more business oriented and a few adult themed. I speculate a little in domain name industry and go on domain registration binges. It's a little more expensive than a potato chip binge, but it keeps me MF compliant. And from time to time I actually make a few dollars selling them (think 50's and 100's not 1,000's). So about a year ago I was participating in another forum, (yes there are other forums out there) and there was an ongoing discussion pertaining Google and that just about any ridiculous search phrase could produce 100's if not 1,000's if not 100,000's results. Hence the the "lesbian tools" domain name...of which I hold some fondness, since I am left-handed, and I like women...I better...I married a very beautiful one! Though I do lack a very important part in being considered a true lesbian, I guess in hind site I should say I don't lack an important part! I digress....that's the story...There is no deep seeded issues I am contending with. I am pretty comfortable with my masculine and feminine side (hence the silk cro....oh never mind wrong forum)...and try to live my life in a manner that I respect the "too each their own" principle and be non judgmental.

So there it is....just a little bit of my somewhat off-beat sense of humor coming out in a domain name I have registered and parked. BTW all of which has been written in this post has been examined in minute detail, and has been made available due to the Freedom of Information Act.

And now I will let you return to your regularly scheduled programming...

So, I don't get it, yet......you r a male lesbian, so you like women, right? (not that there's anything wrong with that (borrowed from Seinfeld)) Or is it....oh I dunno, I think I'd rather join Carmel and have my head explode than try to figure this out.

You'd better not buy my domain name before I think of it, turkey boy! :x

Day 89

Baby Steps....I actually went more than 16 hours without weighing myself! :::taking a bow::: thank you.... thank you. I did jump on the scale....I mean exhaled fully and and stepped as lightly and gingerly as possible on the bane of my existence this morning. The scale did move the right way....My only explanation from the overnight weight gain the night before must have been my dreaming about food. Though I have been doing a little research about the length and quality of sleep and weight gain. On a typical night I don't go to bed much before midnight and sometimes later. I am normally awake around 6:00AM and out of bed no later than 6:30....So really on average I am getting no more than 6 really good hours of sleep. I may need to do a little unscientific study and try getting more sleep to see if that spurs weight loss.

I have set anew goal for myself and will only weigh myself once every 24 hours. Now if I lived on Pluto that would mean that I could weigh myself about once every 4 hours...but it really wouldn't matter since I would weigh about 21lbs. No muffin tops on Pluto!

Random Thoughts....

The "What if" thread is pretty cool...lot's of ways to go with that.
Nice to see Roger (ktrout's) back in the house.
Weirdest NSV so far...on of the admin's in my office told me that my suits are starting to look to big...the picture they painted was that I looked like I was going to the Freshman dance and I borrowed my father's suit. Yeah...nice visual huh.

So that must mean...

My muffin tops are shrinking!

The science teacher in me got confused by this one. If by meaning you want to weigh once a day, then realistically, using our units, you would weigh once every 6.4 days if you were on Pluto. And also, to make you feel a little better, you would only weigh about 17 lbs on Pluto.. lol

Wish I had your fortitude, 16 hours wow! Way to go. I think I read somewhere someone shipped their scale out for awhile, literally *too funny*, but a great idea. I'm thinking of sending mine on a trip to Moscow.

Day 90....a milestone of sorts

24 hours.....no not the TV show...this is how long I went between scale visits yesterday. I was successfully able to stay away from the scale except for my obligatory morning weigh in. You know what's funny?...When I was on my "see" food diet I would hardly ever get on the scale. You could hide a hundred dollar bill under it and I wouldn't find it for months. Now....with the way I move the scale around with my foot searching the the "sweet" spot..in less than a day I would spot Benjamin's face.

Overall a decent day yesterday very busy though....I didn't get all my supplements in. I will need to work on that a little harder on that today will be just as bad....Busy day at work planned and also this evening.

NSV....went suit shopping last night...it appears that I have lost close to 8 inches off my waist. After talking to the saleperson we decided that it would be best to wait for me to lose another 10-15 lb's to get down to the next suit size. That way there is more flexibility in the waist sizes. So I guess I won't be doing any suit buying for another month or so.

Random Thoughts...

Watched the Wedding Crashers last night....it still amazes me how tall Vince Vaughn is. I really should have gone to bed earlier!
4 year old + Tae Kwan Doe lessons = Dad with sore shins
In talking to my DW last night my opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right.
The belt that I am wearing today has not seen the light of day for over 3 years.

Which means...

My muffin tops are shrinking!

One more day to TGIF! TTFN

Day 91 - 13 Weeks in the books.

Well the scale has been moving these past few days and I am close to breaking into the 250's. I am now officially at my 50% to goal mark! In some respects 13 weeks has been an eternity and it has also gone by relatively quickly. My second half goal is to make weight by the end of the year. As it is, I really need to stay with it until then as I am involved in a weight loss contest through the end of the year.

Here is a pricelss NSV for ya...my 4 year old last night comes over and sits down on my lap and says "you look like a brand new Daddy" and the tells me I have a "brand new face and a brand new tummy." Now if that doesn't make a person feel good nothing would!

We are taking a mini-vacation to Cedar Point (A large amusment park in Ohio) Sun, Mon, Tues. I will try to stay somewhat compliant but I don't have and delusions of grandeur either. I am pretty good about getting back on the horse and having the "gid-er-done" attitude when I have come back from a planned uncompliant activity. Cause there are only 4 more weeks until I need to break out the Speedo thong for my Dominican Republic vacation and I still need to reduce my muffin tops a little more!

Anyway...TGIF...Hope every one has a great weekend!

Random Thoughts...

Is it just my family or do we always have to bring a friend along to everything we do?
Taking a 4 year old to a doctor's appointment is not something that I look forward to doing. Especially when you know there will be tears.
Does it bother you when you meet someone new and they don't know that you have lost a lot of weight? Maybe I have just become addicted to the increased attention from the people that are following my weight loss journey.

Because there are a lot of people that have noticed that my.....
