Hello All ~

Nope, I have not heard from her either.

I sent her an email on Friday to wish her a happy third week new tummy anniversary; called her on Tuesday and left a message for her to call me and sent her another email today.

I lost her cell phone number...I had written it on a post-it note and stuck it on the back of my cell phone. I called it a number of times while she was on her surgical adventure. It became detached & methinks it is permanently lost somewhere in the bowels of a purse or who-nows-where?

I make so many calls that it is long gone from my phone's memory "list of calls" sent...

Where is she?

I am worried...hope she is not

I too have sent her messages and a card have not heard fron her..I hope she is okay..I knew she was suippose to go back to work last week but still haven't heard from her.. Hope she isn't overdoing..

I posted a ? about where Christi was in the weight room on July 29 and haven't heard her chime in as of yet!! I sure hope all is OK. Nancy, when you do get in touch with her via the phone will you let us know? I'm getting concerned.

I sent her another card a couple of days ago and private messaged her earlier today but haven't heard from her yet..I let her know how many of you were worried and how many have posted threads looking for her but no response yet.. I told her we all miss her terribly and to please just let us know if she is okay or if there was a problem with the surgery.. I will keep trying to contact her too.. martha

Yeap I feel okay I have a really BIG black and blue spot(over 1/2 of my shoulder) where I feel the other night and my eyes burn pretty bad when I put the steroid drops in but I guess that is just part of it.. I'll call the Dr tomorrow after I get back from taking mom to have her nerve block thingy done on her back(we leave at 5:00am) and see if it is suppose to burn or not..This is going to be an adventure as it is my first time to drive(since surgery) and it will be dark when I leave.Hopefully all will go well as i still need to buy the over the counter glasses to see up close and still need the antibotics, steroid drops and tears put in every 2 hours.. Tried to get mom to cancel but NOT oh well such is life at my house --have a great day tomorrow..Martha

Dear Sweet Wonderful Friends "FAMILY",

My disappearance all began this past weekend when Broden became soooo ill with the Croop Friday night. By Saturday morning I had been up ALL night holding him so he could breathe at all and he really sounded like he was drowning...it was horrible. Had him in the doc's office first thing Sat morning and was told it was croop and as horrible as it seemed there was nothing to do except keep him comfortable. They gave him a breathing treatment and said if he got worse to take him to the emergency room for another one and possibly a steroid shot Saturday and Sunday was absolutely miserable in my house for EVERYONE! I was soooo exhausted on Monday morning when I started back to work for the first time since surgery. Most of you realize that have been around for a while that the first week of the month at work is the most hectic and I'm rarely around the first week because of check-in. Basically on the first Tuesday and the First Thursday of every month, EVERY OFFENDER comes in that isn't missing or otherwise incarcerated...and my caseload right now is 156!! Now thankfully I had given a LOT of people the month off that were of no consequence, but I came back to 10 new cases and I've been trying to get them for their initial paperwork (45 minutes a person) on top of doing check-in!

I am exhausted...and honestly I'm hurting and swollen. I have FAR overdone it this week and Broden has been sleeping with us so I could watch his breathing so that has meant VERY LITTLE RESTFUL sleep for me or Darren. THANKFULLY this morning he woke up with no congestion and a very happy little boy So that means BACK TO HIS BED tonight!!!

I just want you all to know what you mean to me. I have forwarded emails and taken numbers to work (Nancy) in hopes that I would have a moment to write or call SOMEBODY but this has been the absolute FIRST time since last week that I have had a moment And Martha...when I should have been checking on YOU, you are checking on ME...you are such an angel. All of you...my medi-angels

I can report that I am still at 140....no more...no less. I'm thankful for that. I have been living more in maintenance than weight loss this week being back to work. I've been drinking my shakes, having my oatmeal, and my bar everyday...and just one meal. I've just had a little extras in my meal than I would normally have in weight loss. I still plan to get the last 5 lbs off but I've not stressed myself out over it this week. I'm actually very proud of myself, because I realize this is a lifestyle that I am comfortable with and see no reason to change it. Take Shape for LIFE right!!!

The reactions to me at work have been incredible. The first day was the best, and now all the women are walking past me and turning up their noses and flipping their hair at me (in pure fun) saying they don't want to see how "skinny" I am anymore now I told you all that every woman in this office started "dieting" at the same time I did...of course I am the ONLY one who has lost ANYTHING and some have even GAINED! So YEAH ME!

I am hoping on Monday I will be more rested and ready to get myself back into Ketosis and drop just a tad more. I am looking forward to being cleared by the doctor to begin exercising again so I can start sculpting this awesome and FANTABULOUS body I have now! WOW..did I really say that??? So life changing friends...just unbelievable.

I will have Darren take pictures in some new outfits this weekend so you can all see how I'm coming along. I know you'll all be so proud and excited for me...in just the same way that I will be for you when you are at your goal! It is never a journey's end...only the beginning of a better future

I love you all more than you will ever know......and for all that I have missed I am so terribly sorry. I plan to be back in with all of you starting today

I am so glad that Broden is feeling better. It is horrible to see our little one's suffer. I am so thankful that you are ok though. Can't wait to see the photos! Have a blessed day! Here is a big hug from me to you!

Oh poor little Broden and poor you too! I'm so glad to hear that he's doing much better. That must have been scary. Glad to see you are back and so happy for you that you are just about at goal! How very exciting it all must be!

Good luck on the last 5! I know they will fly right off. But, start taking it easy or you're not going to heal! (sorry, mother hen in me coming out hehe).

You wrote just in the nick of time..Have the number next to me for the NATIONAL GUARD ''So glad the baby is better,,Croop is a very scarey thing(my grandson had it) It scared my daughter so bad she moved in with me(when I had a house ) and I cared for him..I know you and Darren are ready for a GOOD nights sleep without listening for his breathing patterns..
I know your job is important but so are you..Take it easy and let your body heal the right way..Stress is not good even at this point of your recovery..I know you are looking forward to losing the last 5 pounds..I am looking forward for you too You have done so good and I for one can't wait to see you in your new clothes looking all skinny and cute,,Isn't it nice to know you stuck to your program when everyone else at work didn't and now they can see the BIG DIFFERENCE and joking or not --you know they wish they had done your program with you..Hold your skinny little head up, flip your hair and SMILE really big at them..
So glad you are back with us-- keep up the good work.

Yes I too could of used the nerve block thing for my whole body ..She has done nothing but complain this morning and I had to get up at 4 to get ready then do her..My eyes are really burning today and when I called the Dr he said it was probably from being to dry..So now I am wetting them every 30 minutes and if not better this evening I am to call him back..Feels like someone is sticking a knife in them only when I put the steroids in..I must say I have never had dry eyes before so I haven't a clue as what theya re suppose to feel like.. Other than that I am great..Just a REALLY BIG black and blue shoulder ..If people didn't know I have never drank they would swear I was a SOT and fell..or Doug BEAT ME (he doesn't think that's funny ) but I did..
