I work for an international carrier...and let me tell you...our flights are packed! So my question is....

Where is everyone going this year? Does anyone have any fun travel plans coming up?

I think in November when I am as thin as my friend Dede..I may have to reward myself with a trip to Italy. Anyone else?

Nowhere that exciting. I'm going to Utah next week for the Medifast conference, to Denver in August (I go twice a year for my younger cousins' birthdays), and to San Jose for Thanksgiving.

And maybe LA at some point to visit family. That'd be about it for me. Usually by the time I spend my two weeks in Denver, and a week on various Jewish holidays and another week on small trips or long weekends, I'm out of vacation time.

I'm going to take a cruise this December, I think! Plus, I have a "friend" in Colorado that I think I will be visiting QUITE often! I'd LOVE to go to Italy! Say hi to Florence and Venice for me! What a GREAT country! I have to find me a travel buddy!

But this isn't a good year. I've got too many trips through December...but I'm wide open for '07!

For what's left of this year I'll be traveling to Seattle and Spokane in September to visit friends <img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/11/11_6_8.gif' border=0>, Detroit in late October for granddaughter's 4th BD <img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/13/13_10_1.gif' border=0> and to meet newest addition to the clan, Grandson Gus <img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_66.gif' border=0> and then Chicago for Christmas with son's in-laws <img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_2_64v.gif' border=0> . (Thank God for FF miles!)

My planned reward for reaching goal sometime (?) next year will be a cruise <img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_6_4.gif' border=0>. I'm thinking I'd love to cross the Panama Canal, or sail to Hawaii <img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_6_13.gif' border=0>and back. (Geez, I'd better get crackin at work to be able to afford this!)

Then again, there's always "The Amazing Race" <img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_5_103.gif' border=0> <img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_3_110.gif' border=0> with Lisa.

Mid July it's Chicago to visit friends...
August it's New York for 2 friends birthdays (both on August 16th)
3 Possible Tattoo conventions I know one is in Montreal
November is so far our set month to go to Japan
And the finally Christmas in Wisconson with my parents....

heh heh...told my bf we should go by his dad for x-mas....he lives on Oahu...lol

Well, I just bought tickets to Kansas to visit my parents, plus the rest of my family. I am the only one who moved out of state .

I already have hotel reservations in NYC for the Westminster Dog Show in February, and my parents will be flying here for that.

That's about it so far. I wish everyone safe travels .

I just booked a trip this week for our family summer vacation to Punta Cana in the Dominan Republic. A charter flight straight from Cleveland to the DR and then to an all inclusive resort. Sad to say, but the shakes will probably not travel on this trip. Now I just have to explain to my sons that there is going to be a large contingent of europeans that visit the DR and the will be a fair amount of women that will go topless on the beaches. Though the 12 year old will probably be easier than the 4 year old to explain this to.

End of July, we're going on a short cruise out of Port Canaveral, FL to the Bahama's (will there be topless women on the beaches there too?? Must brace myself AND hubby!)
for my 38th birthday (Aug 2).

August planning a trip back to delaware for a couple of weeks.

December, back to Delaware for Chrismas.

I'm going to Dallas the end of July for a seminar, but I'm taking my dh with me, sans kids, so it's going to be nice.

Mike is currently off on a whirwind tour of friends and family throughout the Southwest.

Utah for me next week, too.

Mike and I will probably find some days to get to the NorCal coast, probably Mendocino, during the end of July, beginning of August.

This summer is just so packed with trainings...We'll probably get up to Oregon to visit Dayna a few times before the year's out.

Maybe we could do a thread with vacation pics in either the Studio or here in What's Shakin' so the rest of us can travel vicariously!
