Where does it go?

Postby AmazonQueen » February 25th, 2008, 9:00 am

Just curious what everyones experience has been in regards to where they seemed to have lost the weight first. Do most lose it in the waist, hips, butt, chest, ect. before overall loss. Thanks to everyone who responds!

I think this is very individual. For me, however, I always lose first from hips to neck. Prior to MF I would lose from my breasts too - - but not this time :) LOL Everywhere but there.....but I have seen inches lost all over. I've lost about 70 inches so far.

Good luck to you!

Yea, like OWTO said, every "body" is different. I know many women lament the loss of "the girls" before anything else, but not me. My sister lost most of her's in her face and upper body first so she didn't see changes in her clothing size as fast as I did. My biggest losing area is in my lower body (hips, thighs, waist etc) which is exactly where I needed it most. Once you have been on the program for a month or so you can start to do some weight training and cardio exercise. When you get going on a certain routine, you can start to focus on specific areas. I am really working on my bat wings (upper arms) right now, but I also want to continue to see losses in my hips and thighs also.

An important tip is to make sure you measure various parts of your body. Don't just weigh yourself because you will notice times when your body is changing in size, but the scale isn't moving. If you are totally reliant on the numbers on the scale you will find yourself getting discouraged.

I am too am losing upper body faster than lower body, so not really seeing a change in clothing sizes. Couple that with a big long stall, and I was ready to kill someone, lol..

But, now that Kelly had realized that she needs to FEED her body and not STARVE it she has been dillegent about getting in all of her MF meals and is seeing some good losses.

Just a kind nudge from the peanut gallery! :D

i seem to have lost first in my face and neck area, then kina overall evenly but "the girls" don't seem to be going anywhere too fast (although, i wish they would shrink some.

Hullo and welcome to you, AmazonQueen ~

My weight loss was more apparent from the top down; I noticed that my neck, midriff area and tummy began to show signs of slimmin' first. The hippos were the last to go. The TSFL Program works similar to a home-lipo kit because it truly is the fat that melts away; it's like something seeks and destroys the flab when we follow the program, sparing our muscle tissue - I discovered muscle and hip bones I never knew existed!

Thanks everyone for the great responses! My extra weight is mostly in the upper thigh, hip, tummy pouch range. I have been the same chest size both skinny and where I am at so I'm not worrying about losing them (all the cute bras are in smaller sizes anyway :) ) but I sooooo cant wait to fit into a smaller pant size. I currently wear a 18W but they are loose so if I make it to a 16 by April I will be extatic!!!
