Postby mama2benandrachel » September 23rd, 2005, 10:56 am

I have been chewing gum until my jaws are sore! What do you all suggest? Brushing my teeth 10 times a day? And I have cotton mouth Soooo bad! Which helps me drink more water, for sure!!!!!!!!!!
Take care and God Bless,

I'm sure it is very difficult........ :( .......however, a few months of bad breath is worth a healthy body..... ....if that helps..............I would try brushing more......staying hydrated....and go to a store that carries all natural products.........sometimes they have things other than mints or gum..........

Thanks for all of the advice! What problems does sorbitol cause? Is it like carb or sweet tooth cravings?

Well for me it is both.........carbs and sweet tooth cravings........however I think Unca is refering to a more dreaded problem which believe me can happen.......it's called the ........ :runner: ...........runs.......funny what a little SF mint can do.......or should I say...........in my case......... to many SF mints

I have Crohn's disease, so the :runner: runs are part of my life! MF has almost stopped that problem, Praise God!

Thanks for the support Unca and Donna. I will watch for Sorbitol. I don't want to slow down my weight loss!
