Hi I just started MF ten days ago. I was really nervous about the food and whether I could stick to it. Before I started I did a lot of research on recipes and things that might make this easier. To my surprise, when the food got here, I found it wasn't bad. I actually enjoy all of it with help from the Davinci SF syrups and a lot of spices, boullion, and other condiments. I loaded up on carb free items like BBQ sauce, A1sauce, etc. for the LG meals. And my cupboard now is stocked with all kinds of flavorings, spices and things so that I won't get bored. I actually think this is fun. Coming up with new varieties every day.
I put curry powder in all the chicken soups. Cayenne, Chili Powder and Cumin in the chili. With the shakes, there are so many things to try -- sugar free Koolaid, Crystal Light and of course extracts and syrups. I also just bought these little packets called True Lemon. I have not seen anyone talk about them on this site but they have 0 carbs, 0 calories and 0 fat. I add them to some things, even the chicken soups for a little zest. In the Minestrone I add some red pepper flakes, Ms. Dash's original, and garlic powder. The only thing I have not mastered is the pudding. Never liked it as a kid and not sure what to do. I see that others have tried it as a shake so I am going to do that next. Chocolate pudding, some ice and banana extract sounds good! As for the oatmeal, I just got the brown sugar version of Sweet N Low and spray a little spray of ICBINB, as well as add pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, etc. Much better.
