very rough day – that alone would
traumatize your body – it was a mini-surgical procedure. I am
confident that you will be back in the losing mode very soon.
When we skip meals, it slows down our metabolism and the weight loss process is affected. When we add ‘extras’ like your Easter experience, it throws us out of the fat-burning state, slows down the weight loss process and then we start the three days over. Just consider this a
super learning experience and now the next time you are faced with chocolate covered marshmallow eggs, you’ll recall this slow down, you’ll think carefully about what you want to do and it will be easier to say,
“No thanks, not now. I’ll choose to pass that by for now in exchange for a
happier and healthier tomorrow.”
The keys to rapid safe weight loss:
Have the first meal of the day within the first hour of crawling out of the
snore sack.
Eat
every
2.5 to 3.0 hours; never go more than 4 hours. You had no way to poke a RTD straw in the corner of your mouth and sip away while you were in
Dr. Demento’s Drill Chair. You did your best so we cannot whip you with a tape measure. Let that day go. You are back on track now.
Drink a
load of water. Dr. Andersen is now telling us we need to drink about 90-100 ounces of wah-wah a day. If we divide our current weight in half (ok, do the math Everyone. Got your number in mind?) Drink that weight number of ounces of water each day and we’ll be in good shape from
running to the sandbox.
Carefully follow the meal guideline for the Lean and Green meal – weigh the meat portion; measure the veggies.

Give yourself some time to get the process underway. It takes three full weeks for our body to adjust to using our stored flabbage for its energy source.
When we are not in the weight loss mode, eating the typical American diet, our body uses the carbs and sugars we eat for its needed quick energy.
Once we begin the Take Shape For Life program using Medifast, we have cut the carbs and sugars way, way down and the body then has to convert its stored energy (the flabola) into a useful state and it takes it a while to do so. Once we getcha there, the body becomes efficient at converting the ketones to energy and the flabola melts away.
Your job is to mix it up,
shake it and
drink it down. Wash your jar and your good to go for three more hours.
