What did we eat today? :)

Postby Lisa Renee » January 6th, 2006, 8:34 am

I thought it might be effective to be accountable in an open forum atmosphere...I have seen this done on other sites and it seems to really encourage people when they write down what they eat and they can see others do the same.

So, I will TRY to post every evening what I have had for the day on a new thread and I encourage anyone that wants to join in to do the same! If there is already a thread started for this, let me know! hehe

Be back later on to post my results for the day! ;)

accountability is a good thing.

Thankfully today I have only good news to post:

9:00 chocolate RTD shake

12:00 lean and green grilled chicken salad with fat free ranch on the side.

The salad was huge so I left a lot of it on the plate and found that I liked the salad with hardly any dressing at all since the chicken wasn't dry. There might have been some stray "Fat" used in the grilling but nothing heavy, and I made it through the office luncheon without anyone giving me any trouble. Now for the rest of the day...

Oh and about 5 glasses of water thus far and it is only 1

Hi Dogma,
I'm guessing you're not an early riser.
I just wanted to mention for everyone else, according to the BeSlim philosophy, your first meal should be within an hour of waking.

ok here it is....I still have my lean and green to go, but I wont be around to post it.

1) pudding, coffee
2) chili
3) shake
4) oatmeal (free sample of new peach flavor...delicious!)
5) chix and wild rice soup

I have a dinner I need to go to at 7pm, but I think there will definitely be chicken and salad or another vegetable available. :D

Oh, water...I have had about 80 oz so far, and a diet soda. I'll probably make it up to around 100oz of the ole' H2O before the day is out.

Hope everyone's friday was smashing!

LOL, well I started this thread yesterday, then my video card pooped out on me and I couldn't get my computer to start up until the hub came home and did his magic on it!

So, sorry this is late but this is what I had yesterday:

7:00 AM: Hot cocoa

10:00AM: Oatmeal

11:30: Beef Fast Soup (can't wait till we get the vegetable beef!)

1:00PM: Divine Bar

4:00PM: Chicken wild rice soup

7:30 PM: Smoked Chicken breast salad from Rib Crib take out-minus the tortilla strips---on greenleaf with a little tomatoes-low carb/fat ranch dressing (my own at home)

10:00PM Nana Puddin

1:00 AM: Chai latte (I was up until 2am!)

The TSFL nurse has me on 6 supplements a day, sometimes I only do 5 though :)

HUGS!

Well you're doing something right because you are a 100 pound club member! Are these different shakes, RTD, or do you just like the same stuff most of the time?

WOW, this is very interesting and helpful. I thought it would be good for me to write down what I eat out of accountability, but I am seeing that I am learning a lot by reading what everyone else wrote, so this is actually helping me two fold!

THANKS!

Hi Lisa – glad you asked. If you read my hundreds of past posts, you will see I was a total advocate of the full fast. Some can/do and some prefer not to do the full fast. To each their own. My problem is that I was never, and still to this day are not able to monitor on a weight loss program (avoiding calling it a DIEt, for rear of Nancy beating down my door) by allowing items in IE: Lean Green. My problem is eating is eating to me. If I allowed the L/G in, the portion(s) would be legal at first then progressively they would get larger, as I allowed this teensy justification. Before I know it I would have gone off totally. Hey wait – I did just that, AFTER Medifast ended for me, thus my return here. I can’t control my habits, thus the FULL FAST. Again, to each their own, however, for the real first time in my life, I lost 114 pounds, and it was 100,000% related to Medifast. I opted to slit my wrist, bite the bullet, or whatever you call it, and do only full fast, and I LOST THE WEIGHT! It worked once, and it will work again THIS TIME.

Full fast is not for everyone, but it is for some, and it is for me. I want the weight off NOW, not later.

All I drink is the tear and pour packets of Dutch Chocolate I tried the RTD’s (8 ounces?) in the beginning, but w/ the packets, I can actually add 12 ounces of water, and think I am getting more. The only other thing I do is have a hefty bouillon drink (2 cups) about 4-5 nights a week. I add 4 bouillon cubes to this. That’s it, nothing else.

Hope this helps!

-Mike

WOW, you are seriously committed. I am VERY impressed. VERY. I can understand the lean and green portion thing. There have been so many times that I have justified a little more, only to take it back off my plate again. How is your hunger doing the full fast?
