As some of you know, I am going to Las Vegas from Sunday-Thursday. As of right now, my plan is to stay compliant through Saturday and on Sunday I will go off plan. I will try to eat healthy choices and keep my calorie intake under 1500-2000 per day. I know that some people think this is a bad move, but I am not going to worry about shaking things up every 2-3 hours when I am on a vacation. I will rarely be in my hotel, so that makes it even harder.
As of right now, I have lost 57.5 pounds. I expect to gain at least a little bit of weight, just from the change. At my weight (312), a 2000 calorie diet should still cause me to lose weight...but assuming the changes in intake, I expect to gain at least 7-8 pounds while I'm gone. I can deal with that.
On Friday, the plan starts over. Hopefully I will not suffer the hunger (which I didn't last time) or the headaches (which I did), but I am expecting to have both.
Here's a question for those that have fell off the plan. How much did you gain after being off the plan for a week? Again, I am going to try to choose wisely, but obviously, it will not include medifast packets.
