2 Weeks completed

Postby mindovermatter » January 20th, 2005, 8:01 am

2 weeks done and 15 lbs total. I'm a happy girl.

I'm still not to the point of having the plan be second nature but it gets a little easier each day. I've been spending time looking through old posts and getting strength and insight from what everyone else has gone through. "One day at a time" I'm getting this addiction under control.

2 weeks and 15 pounds! That is awesome. It takes a while to get into a real groove - I'm going to say a good 4-6 weeks. Then you have a good amount of time where you're breezing along.

If you haven't done so already, I would recommend that you read "Success in a Shaker Jar". It is an excellent resource and helps you to understand what you're experiencing, when and why.

Just keep on doing what you're doing!

Woo-hoo MOM!!! Congrats!!! Fifteen pounds is awesome, and I hope it feels so good that it keeps pushing you along to your goal... I think the only way I could lose 15 pounds that fast is by cutting off my leg.

Hmmm... Would that be considered cheating?

I am starting my Medifast program on Monday and found your post to be very inspiring!!!

I only hope I do half as well, actually I hope I do just as well but that seems like asking too much! :D

Lissakay and Raederle -

As Eleanor Roosevelt coined:

[b] IF YOU THINK YOU CAN OR IF YOU THINK YOU CAN'T, YOU'RE RIGHT!

You CAN get rid of the weight without cutting off any body part!

Stay on plan and you WILL get rid of all the weight you want to!

Happy Slurpin' to you!

Besides, if you cut off your leg you'd have to re-adjust your goal weight downwards by 40 pounds or however much a just-the-right-size-for-your-goal-weight leg weighs....
