Week 1 is done...

Postby fedup » June 8th, 2005, 11:23 am

Okay, I started June 1, so Wednesday is my official weigh in day. This first week I'm down 12.5 pounds. (Scale is hovering between 12 and 13 pounds lost... guess I should've ordered a digital while they're on sale huh! ;) )

I'm hoping week 2 will bring positive success also. I lost most of my weight early in my week, so now I'm nervous that I'll stall and not lose more since the last few days have been the same... I think I'll quit being "scared" that it'll quit working once I finish week 2 or 3 and see that scale still going down, which I know it will... Just don't want it to be a "1 week phenomenon..."

It's been very hot here also, I read someone's post about the heat and I think it slows things down too. Or maybe all that heat just makes me cranky! :)

"Pain of the regain..." what a perfect way to word it! ;) I just wish... or why didn't I just.... you know what I'm thinking! I ask myself those questions all the time. Till finally I figure I can't go back but I sure can go forward! What makes it tough for me is that I didn't just regain, I went back up WAAAAYYYY over my original start weight! It's like I knew I'd have to restart someday so I kept cramming in all the food I could get. Sort of like "storing up" for the time I'd be deprived... So, I stored away all I lost plus 32 extra pounds.... YIkes!!

Oh well! It's different now, I'm back on track and ain't stoppin' now!
