Okay... here goes, here's a picture of my on my wedding day September 4, 05... same starting weight. The girl on the left is my best friend from high school, and she weighs no more than 110 soaking wet! Kinda hard with that all my life to compare to...

Hi, Ash! I think you absolutely beautiful on your wedding day. You look amazingly happy and just stunning. Congratulations on the big day!

Isn't it funny? I think we all have one of those "weighs 110 pounds soaking wet" friends in our life. For me it's a size 3 little sister, and a best friend who is 5'10", wears a size 4, and a D cup bra. Tell me how unfair that is? lol. She might as well be Tyra Banks. I think in part being surrounded by those people has always made me feel worse about myself, but at the same time always been an inspiration to be something different than I am.

Don't feel bad about people being slow to post. Sometimes it is a little quiet in the evenings...personally I am on here as often as possible. Keeps me sane when the fiance is at work and I need some inspiration. Tonight I find your photo very inspiring. Nothing like a beautiful bride to get me pumped for my own wedding! :mrgreen:

My sister is super skinny....I hate standing next to her, too!!

I am starting to plan my wedding...wow ~ so much work!!

I just love that style of dress, very classy! Glad to say my wedding day was a looooong time ago and that stress is over for me!

I have this skinny friend who had a baby a couple of years ago and I remember her commenting on how she had to lose the rest of the baby weight because she was still in 2's and 4's and her 0's didn't fit yet again. We are talking 5 lbs to drop those 1-2 sizes here. I could have slapped her! :lol:

To top that off, it was her second baby.

I will be thin, I will be thin, I will be thin........off to bed to dream about myself in a bathing suit this summer!

I'm nearby in Vermont, and this time of year is especially difficult, but you know you can do it...and you will.

I have that skinny little sister too....boney almost, but I got the boobs. (lol) :shock:

I used to be that thin friend...five+ years and almost 100 lbs ago. I have a daughter, tall blonde and so very beautiful, who I can't stand to go shopping with!!! She is a model, and everyone looks at her.....Tough when you're standing next to her feeling self concious on your own.... But sometimes I make a point of it....just to remind myself of how badly I want to lose....We can find motivation and encouragement at every turn if we just look for it. And this Forum is one of the best ways to 'survive', I'm always here when I have a minute or need determination, there is so much here.....I think thats why I didn't see your post right away.
