Water question...

Postby Joelie » March 24th, 2006, 10:50 am

I am now drinking 32 ozs of water between each meal except in the evenings. A total of 128 ozs during the day and MAYBE 6-8 ozs from 6 pm until bedtime. It has drastically cut down on having to get up every hour on the hour to pee...now it's only twice a night. YAY!

My question is...will not continuing to chug away in the evening like I do during the day slow down my weight loss at all?

Hi Joelie! Like you, I was chuggin all day long and peeing all night! LOL SO, I've been getting my 128 oz in by 4pm every day, and like you, maybe another 8-10 after that...my weightloss has still been going great! :) Your body may take a day or two to adjust, but over all, nothing should change :)

Keep Shakin!

Yep Joelie,
You'll do just fine tapering off a bit before bedtime....

Joelie ~

Just wanted to check on you in regard to your water slurpage...have you gotten any sleep and is your weight loss still steady and rolling off?

When we keep well-hydrated, we feel better, our body metabolizes the stored fat better and washes it out of our thinnin' bod.

It takes a while to get used to drinking that much water, doesn't it?

We keep a bottle of water by the side of the bed because sometimes we get thirsty snoring up a storm at night!

I no longer need an alarm clock, I wake up because I need to do the morning dash to the sandbox!

Happy thinnin' Joelie!

 Hi Nancy!

Yes...I am now sleeping quite well with only 1 or 2 interuptions though the night. MUCH IMPROVEMENT. ;)

It does take a bit to get used to. Water has been my beverage of choice for several years now...just not THIS much. But...it's a piece of cake now.
I have my meds and a bottle of water in the bathroom to take during one of my potty breaks. I find I have to stop myself from slurping too much water when I do this to keep from having to get up to go again within the next hour.

As far as my weight loss steady rolling off. Well...I'm trying really hard not step on the scale everyday. I think I have a harder time doing that than I did my first 3 days on MF.
I did step on the scale this morning though...my last time being on Tuesday because that was my ACTUAL 1 week mark...and it really hasn't moved much at all. .2 is all so I decided to put it away until Sunday morning roll call. I'm not disappointed and I haven't lost one bit of my enthusiasm...after losing 10 lbs in one week I am pretty much expecting a whole lot less this week. So we'll see on Sunday. ;)
Heck I would have been happy with 5 lbs lost last week. The additional 5 was a SUPER added bonus!

Glad to hear about your progress.

You do have a positive attitude and that will help get you thru those days that are rocky.

Keep on going and you will cross the finish line in thinny style!

Do you wear swim fins and a mask to bed? Hee hee?
