Water bottle Ice sticks

Postby electra000 » May 2nd, 2006, 9:15 am

I was at Wal-Mart this weekend and bought one of those ice cube molds that freezes ice sticks that fit in your water bottles. I made some up and put one in my water bottle with some sugar free lipton peach tea. Kept it nice and cold. Just thought I would share that. Terri :guzzle:

Hi Terri, thanks for the info. I have seen those ice trays advertised in a catalog, but it is great to know that I can go over to Walmart and pick a couple up and not pay for postage. Thanks so much! PS: aren't the flavored teas, so wonderful?! :D

I was at the health food store this weekend, and they had shaker cups with built in ice "sticks" to keep the drinks cold for up to six hours. I've found that it stays together much better than the Medifast large shakers and is a lot easier to clean up.

Only $3.99 too :)

Wow, both ideas sound great. Ascicles, what's the brand name of the shaker bottle you found and what health store, if I may ask?

I LOVE the ice sticks. I like using them in the blender or MB...they seem to pulverize much easier. ;)
