I was worried for nothing.

Postby susan77 » March 31st, 2006, 8:26 am

Yesterday I wrote in that it was 6 days and I had not lost any weight in the last three days. It all came off in the first three days of the diet. But today I woke up and weighed myself. To my surprise I had lost another 2 pounds. So it is 7 days, 10 pounds. I could not be happier. Thanks for all your support.

That is so great!!

I seem to go 3 days with no weight loss and then I usually drop a pound or two and then go a few more days with nothing.

Dont get discouraged. It will come off.

I am going to try not to weigh in except for my weekly weigh in. I know in the past that has been what has thrown me off track because I have gotten so discouraged when the scale hasn't moved or heaven forbid gone up. I think this strategy will work for me. Not for everyone but just a thought that may help

Thanks to everyone who responded. I'm glad there are others who lose the same way I do. I will take that tip not to weigh in every day so I don't get discouraged. It seems to ruin my day if the scale goes up or stays the same.

Susan yeh it really puts me in a crappy mood too and then I take it out on everyone and get bummed out. But if I had just stuck with it that dang scale would have moved in a couple of days. This time everything is different for me.
