Was this legal???

Ok I saw that if you're a vegetarian you can have a cup of cheese instead of the meat. Can we mix it up for those that just want some cheese? Say have 3 oz. Beef with a 1 oz. peice of string cheese? Also, is the light ranch veggie dip legal so we can have broccoli and dip as our green meal??

not just plain old cheese is legal. It is recommended that vegetarians have 1c of low fat cottage cheese in place of the meat portion of their lean and green. Id definitely wait till one of the HA's chimes in on this one before Id go charging for the cheese with reckless abandon! Walden Farms makes a fat free/sugar free ranch that is legal in moderation, as does medifast. you could use those with broccoli for the lean portion, if you could stretch the 1tbsp to outlast your 1.5c of raw broccoli.

And you do realize it's "lean and green," meaning you have both together, right? You shouldn't have, for instance, broccoli and dip in one sitting and then your protein at a different sitting. They should be eaten together as one meal.
