Mike, what I've read about these is that alone they aren't 'good' but a little added to something makes a nice difference. Could that be the case, do you think, after tasting them?

Yeah, I would agree. Although the Apple Butter by itself wasn't bad. The syrups were just nasty....in my opinion they might ruin whatever they are added to. The other stuff we kept I think will just be added for sweetness and flavor.

It finally let me place my order with the coupon. This is what I ordered:

1 x Alfredo Pasta Sauce () = $3.99
1 x Marinara Pasta Sauce () = $3.99
1 x Thick N Spicy Barbeque Sauce () = $3.99
1 x Blueberry Syrup () = $3.99
1 x Bacon Ranch Salad Dressing () = $3.99
1 x Asian Oriental Salad Dressing () = $3.99
1 x Honey Dijon Salad Dressing () = $3.99
1 x Honey Barbeque Sauce () = $3.99
1 x Apricot Fruit Spread () = $3.99

I have a bottle of the regular syrup from them that I like but it seems to leave a sweet/weird after taste for the rest of the day. I get the same after taste from the maple brown sugar oatmeal. I was hoping to use the blueberry syrup and apricot fruit spread to snazz up the oatmeal. I'm bummed that you said the honey dijon dressing was gross, I was looking forward to that one the most.

Did anyone try any of the pasta sauces?

Just remember, thats just me... and I'm picky about dressing. As for the syrups.... well, I'll stick to my SF maple with 20 cal in 1/4 cup.

Hope you enjoy them.

Here I am 18 days later and my order still says pending. I'm going to call them today. I should have expected this but it's still irritating. :x

Yeah, it took like 3 weeks for mine. We finally just threw away the ones we kept. We realized that we only kept them in case we might use them. Not because we wanted them.
I think I'll stick with stuff that actually tastes good.

I received my package, put everything in the pantry without opening it. I cannot imagine what I'm going to dip into the marshmellow or the caramel or the chocolate dips....what am I going to use the raspberry syrup on? The list continues as I scratch my head over these latest 'a fool and her money are soon parted' purchases.

Raspberry syrup would be an easy one. I'd add it to a chocolate shake.

Then again, I can be counted among the Walden Farms haters in the group. Alone or added to something, I can't stand any of them.

i actually have no problem with the dips. for having no calories, they're fine. i think people have to remember that their products are merely for accent-- not genuine flavor.

and i really dig the maple syrup-- it's not terribly sweet, and it tastes more like pancakes with maple syrup than syrup alone. i'm all for it. then again, my taste buds are so off these days that it may taste like cow poop and just appeal because it's different.

p.s.
if you put a little raspberry syrup in the chocolate pudding, and then freeze it for a few minutes, it's fantastic.

The more I think about it, the more I am on your side with this Robin. The only one I could really "deal" with was the Apple Butter, but it wasn't worth it.

I'm stewing chicken in the crock pot with one of the WF bbq sauces. I'll let you know how it turns out tonight.

Well, I have found two different ones... one has 25 cal per 1/4 cup and the other has 15. The other brands I have found have 30-35 (Mrs Butterworth, Log Cabin, etc)

Both are made by Maple Grove of Vermont. www DOT maplegrove DOT com

I LOVE Maple Grove Farms products. Their sugar-free balsamic vinaigrette, their sugar-free barbecue sauce, their sugar-free teriyaki sauce and best of all (discontinued, but I bought all I could when it was still available) their lemon-rosemary marinade.
