Hey Lula ... I only have 1/3 of each ovary so you have more than I do! How much do you think an ovary weighs?

Now before I start feeling excluded  ... could someone explain the "Ritzee" name to me? Does it have something to do with crackers?

LuLu, I have to agree! Drama Llama is my FAV all pretty and dressed up! I think she rocks (I hope its a SHE!) Even the look on the llamas face says 'I'm Hot' - LOL

I get lost at Sephora! LOL I'm a big fan of Bare Minerals make up but I mostly do it mail order because walking in the Sephora store gives me cold chills with all of the choices, lol.

Well, it IS messy!!! But I love the coverage and the 'lite' feeling of it on my face. I did once try the eyeliner and I just never could use it without having it all over my face, lol. So I use the foundations but I still use Clinique for almost everything else.

Do you mean it makes a mess of your face or your dressing table? The table I can deal with.

I've often wondered about that stuff, if it really works like they say. Now, I'll have to try it.

I use Lancomb for my eyes and lips. They have a great mascara and liner. I use Lauren Hutton for my face.....for the over 50 face. It's great. No foundation to clog things up.

Joe - because it is powder, its messy like a powder. I apply it over the sink and then wash the sink out when I am done so no biggie. I switched to it a few years ago and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! You can't tell you have it on - and it doesn't seem to 'sweat' or 'wear off' like liquids do. When it is hot and humid and I am out and about my upper lip would lose its make up! YIKES! This stuff is great though, its lite and it really feels like you're not wearing anything.

Now, the eyeliner (powder) I couldn't do because I couldn't get it to appear where I wanted/needed like I do with a pencil. So I don't use it but the foundations are great! I use three different ones - first is the Multi Tasking Mineral - it's like an all over concealer - WONDERFUL! Sometimes its all I wear if I'm not getting fancy. Then I use the BareMinerals Foundation and then the Mineral Veil (its like the final 'powder' if you use powder over your liquid).

OK, and the last thing I would say (can you tell I LOVE this stuff) is that IMHO the best way to get started is to sign up on bareminerals dot com. You'll save TONS on the brushes and then they auto-ship your make up to you. With each auto ship you get a free gift - like more brushes! I love love love it! I hope you like it if you try it!

Not sure, OWTO, but do you like Bare Minerals? Couldn't quite tell...

:-)

I use it too, the face powders/blush. I am not a person who wears concealer or foundations, but I have found that if I need to smooth things out, or having a bad skin day, it is lovely! Also, I sweep it over my eyelids, and it holds the eyeshadow on beautifully! I love the blush too - and yes, their brushes rock! I especially love the travel one that is extendable!

But it can be a mess, however I found a trick. I shake the case upside down before opening it, so a small amount of the powder ends up staying in the lid, and then I just use that amount - it doesn't go anywhere that way!

Cheers,

Lauren
