You always want to keep each meal portion controlled and balanced.

You could add a few slivers of peppers to your chile for seasoning, but be careful not to add so much as to mess up this balance.
You might want to look into some of your favorite spices instead.
Maybe a touch of hot sauce too, if you like?
If you surf the "Lean Cuisine" forum, I think you'll find quite a few ideas to "fix" up the chili. It's become some people's favorite with a little spicing up, who could hardly eat it at first.
