Vegatarian Question

Postby Lizabette » February 2nd, 2006, 9:18 am

I am not a vegatarian, but is it permissable to occasionally substitute vegetarian foods listed in the Quick Start booklet for my Lean and Green Meal, such as eggs, cottage cheese, etc. and omit the meats?

Everything else being the same. Thanks,

Lizabett

I know you've got your answer, but just to chime in... my mom owns a diner, and every other weekend (Sunday afternoon) my husband and I go over to have lunch. I always have eggs, because she makes them just the best, and it's my safest bet... they deep fry a lot of foods there. Normally I don't like to have eggs, but I love hers. My point is, I mix it up... lean protein is lean protein! (Just as long as the eggs are limited to 3 xs a week)

Oh, and sometimes I put the cheese we are allowed to on a salad if I'm just not up to cooking a meat.

Ashes,

Makes me feel better to be able to mix it up! Your low fat cheese on the salad is a good idea also.

Love to hear from you all! By the way, cute name you have!
