Vanilla shake

Postby falisamarie » February 14th, 2006, 8:47 am

I just had the most heavenly drink!!! I took 8oz water and vanilla shake and a little Davinci's Butter rum Syrup and blended it and then I put it in a pot on the stove and added a little cinnamon and it was delish!!!!! Nice and hot for this unusually cold FL weather!

Hot Drinks

Postby Jan » February 14th, 2006, 3:13 pm

You are soooo right Lisa,
There are lots of ways to flavor the vanilla shake and warm it up. It's good with pumpkin pie spice and I think coconut would be good too. The chocolate one is also good warmed and spiced up. We have soooo much variety. And I see that Nancy just posted about heating up the punches and teas. They are quite tasty hot too. :D

HEATING SHAKES

Postby BettinaV » September 5th, 2006, 8:21 pm

Hmmmm that sounds yummie, thanks. I never thought of that. Can we heat the shakes as well as make them cold? I wonder if they all work. If anyone has tried this with other flavors let me know!

I don't do that, Bettina, but I CAN tell you that the hot cocoa is WONDERFUL when prepared cold like a shake. Much better than the actual shakes, IMHO.

Thanks DogMa. I love the hot cocoa. It's my favorite. Tomorrow I will try it as a shake. Yum.

ooowwweeee! Gotta try that with the vanilla shakes - I don't like em so they need doctoring for me.

And I will try that with cold hot cocoa. Hot cocoa was not working for me.

Thanks, y'all!

I don't really like the vanilla shakes. But, I do like them in a cup of coffee. Kind of like a super creamy vanilla coffee. Add a little caramel or butterscotch syrup and yummo!!!

I have a hard time getting all 5 supplements in so I use the vanilla shake powder, a little at a time, in my coffee. Like coffee creamer. Any I have left I add to a shake or oatmeal later on...
