ok, many know that I had a intestinal health condition that has been a rollercoaster and a half for the past 8 years and causing an uncontrollable weight gain for the past 5 years. Through it all, I never gave up on my Medifast. Being listed in January 2004 as super morbidly obese weighing 303 lb, being only 5'2" tall with a BMI = 55.4 Today, 9 months later I weigh 235 lbs, have lost with Medifast 50 lbs and a overall total of 68 lbs. I have to give credit to Medifast because even with my condition and being 167 lbs over my ideal weight of 136, I was able to lose and keep it off without any weight gain. And the thing is I do eat regular food with my Medifast and lost weight successfully. Even the doctors are amazed of my accomplishments. They doubted it at 1st, now are at speechless I could do it without surgery or any prescribed diet pills.
In January, I was physically impaired, getting ready to have a wheelchair delivered, when I said I do not want to live like this. I have so much life and know I can lose weight. The doctors recommended gastric bypass, I chose to give Medifast a try. I just had to think and sort out what I needed to do. I was unable to walk, move, twist or bend my body, even needed assistance with personal hygiene and yes bathing. I am not lying, look at my body and how bloated and rigid I look. That is proof right there. Today, I can put my own socks on, bathe my entire body by myself and even walk up 4 flights of stairs without feeling I will have a respiratory failure or heart attack. Today, I feel good about myself and know as I reach each weight goal I set, my health will not be in danger as it was before. I am proof and have pictures to show it.
If you look at the last pic, you see my bottom tummy looks like it is saggy. It is not, my skin and muscle in that area are very firm and I am 41 years old. Those pants has gotten so loose that it wrinkles in that area since my tummy no longer stretches the pants. Look at my thighs, they are smaller, my arms, I can even see my neck. You can even tell when I had my hair trimmed. Thanks to all for reading this lengthy post, but I had to explained how Medifast helped regain my life and lose weight without complications for these past 9 months. My best to all. Unca, you can add me to the 50 lbs club because I made it.
And now me and my 9 months timeline to weight loss
