Unstuck - finally

Postby fairladyj » February 18th, 2007, 6:00 am

Just need to post it to keep it real. Had been Stuck for almost 3 weeks, so stayed off the scale and focused on staying OP. Was getting frustrated - :wallwall: - reading about everyone's great successes (keeping on trying is a success) helped, and it's finally paying off. Know I don't contribute a whole bunch, but it's nice to know there is a great group here when I have a chance!

Thanks :you:

Jennifer, you are to be commended for not giving up when stalled for such a long time, especially at the beginning of the program. I cannot even imagine how discouraging that could have become (or was?). Congratulations on sticking with it and on the loss!

WTG Jennifer! I'm still afraid of the reaction I may have to the first plateau I'll encounter. You and Jo are really encouraging in the way your determination has made you successful! Good Job!!

Good Job Jennifer~ I've been feeling a little bummed today because I only lost 1 # last week. But, you're right when you say......Just keep on trying.

Congratulations on not giving up and not giving in <img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_5_111.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D23%252F23_5_111/image.gif">

I'm one of those people who've been on so many diets for so many years, and up and down the scale, that when my body hits a familiar number, it likes to stick there for as long as possible - that was why I was stuck so soon. I'm expecting another plateau in about 8 - 10 lbs - will try not to do too much headbanging - this kind :hammerhead: - not this kind :kool:

Keep on keepin on --
