Thanks so much, everyone for such a nice response!
You know, Big Ron, the clothes thing is funny. I've always liked having nice things, but never loved shopping (sorry ladies, it's just one area that I am not too girly - oh, and I have no hair products either!). However, whenever I have really liked an item of clothing, I REALLY like it, and try to make it last a while. Well, the fortunate and unfortunate thing about this diet is that I keep buying new clothes (trying to buy less expensive items, like Old Navy, since I grow out so quickly) and when I fall in love with an item, it's a bummer that's it gets too big so fast! I know, I know, that sounds silly, we're all thrilled to lose weight...but when you fall in love with the way a military style jacket perfectly fits your waste and chest, and then it suddenly doesn't fit? Such a bummer! hahah Moral of the story? I have been wearing my new "favorites" WAY more frequently than I ever would in the past. Any chance to throw on a great pair of jeans or a sweater - whatever, if it's clean, I'm wearing it - don't care if you people just saw me in it! :-)
Anyway else find the bittersweetness of clothes getting too big?
Ciao!
Lauren
