You look like a senator's wife at a fundraiser. Very polished.

Hey..that picture was taken 3 years ago at my daughters wedding and I was also much lighter,,,Daughter is now divorced but a much happier person.

Now I have to get back on track...I am just finishing the christmas goodies because I will start MF tomorrow....

I am going to miss my nightly wine but it was a crutch and I am sure I will survive..

thanks again

My hubby and I had a purging ceremony on New Years day and got rid of ALL of the junk in our house. I'm much happier without it hanging over my head.

Welcome back and good luck to you.

Welcome back...I'm in the same boat with you.... but after a week on MF - I'm so glad to be back! I had to give up my nightly wine, too, but after a week I'm doing ok. Water in a nice glass with a slice of lemon.... not quite the same, but it's working!

Good luck!

thanks everyone for encouragement and support.

Even though I have only been back n MF 1 day.....I weighed myself this morning something I never usually do every day...and was down 4 did I say FOUR pounds...I could not believe it but it was enough to keep me on track today....one day at a time for me this time round..

I have a wedding shower tomorrow at 2pm and I dont know what I am going to do...

then on sunday my hubby and I are going to the theatre and we usually have dinner and wine before show..another problem...

any suggestions??

Welcome! As a re-re-re-re-starter I can tell you that I have to make the decision before I am in the moment, and then sometimes again and again while I am there to stay on my plan. I have finally come to the realization that a little compromise can throw me WAY off base for several days. You may be different (some people are) and only you will know how much you want to test the waters. Maybe you trade out with the dinner/wine thing....he drinks wine, you stay on plan and drive him home and when you get home he fixes you a wonderful bubble bath and cup of tea! Best of luck to you....this is a journey...we are glad you are part of it with us!

Hey, Marge ~

Welcome back! It is good to see ya.

Don't leave home without a plan.

Take extra packets with you, if need be, have a glass of Diet 7 Up with a Cranberry Mango packet stirred in; everyone will think you are having a Singapore Sling!

Extra bites of this 'n that can possibly mean starting all over with Day # 1 again...is it worth it to sacrifice those 4 pounds for a calorie and carb- expensive glass of wine?

If ya wine tonight, you'll whine tomorrow....

You can do it!
