Ok - i'm confessing........well, I guess I just need re-motivation and encouragement!

OK - started off wiht Monthers day - had a little more than i should, skipped dessert.

We had out of town guests and took them to this AMAZING BBQ place (a place i have manged to avoid since April 4th) and had 1 slice of their homemade bread, a bit of meat and a 1/4 of the peach cobbler.

Only upside is all of that and I havne't GAINED any weight.

BUT - i need to refocus. I really do. One thing I think I have learned is portion control. On those 2 meals I didn't feel I OVER ATE like I would have in the past and I really got full very quickly - so that was a nice feeling and I ddin't GORGE myself full like I used to.

Still - need to get back on track and back on the plan so that I can drop the rest of this weight. I'm not at a point that I want to maintain my any means.

Oh - and while the family was in town, we went to the State Captiol to show them around and a lady out of the BLUE stopped me and said how GREAT my skin was. (I know it has to do with my water consumption and much healthier eating)

OK - back on track!

Okay. It is over. Put on your big girl panties and get on with it. For the best motivation around, go to the elevator and read the 10 things lists, and even post a list for yourself. Go to the studio and look at all of the pictures of success. You are strong and you can do this. Just DEMAND that you stay focussed and on plan. Set yourself small goals with rewards. READ READ READ the forum. Remember you are not alone.

Okay, that was just about the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.

Seriously though, I started a day before you and I have slipped as well, just jump back on the horse. There will be those nasty three days again, but then you're back in the groove!

Hi Mara,

Yup, What Laurie Said! She threw out the big-girl panties quote at me once and I SO realized she was right!

There's nothing you can do about it now, so let's look forward! I know sometimes it's hard when you have friends and family around...I go out to eat with the boys ALL the time and while they try to hide things from me, I just look at it and say, "that food's not for me...not right now." And I'm okay because I WANT THIS (being thin and healthy) MORE than I want anything else right now!

You posted, you confessed, now get on with your journey...You might not feel good for a couple of days. You might gain, you might not! I know you're strong and I KNOW you can get through this! If you get RIGHT back on it, you'll be WAY better off than I was last year PROMISING MYSELF every MONDAY that I'd get back on...We're here for you!

Plus, you gotta keep those "GREAT SKIN" comments out of the blue coming, right?

Hi there,

Soo glad to hear you're "back on the horse". Don't worry the farther along in the program you get the more routine it becomes. You've tasted that stuff before... just put it on hold for now and then when you're ready we'll teach you how to have a bit now and then.
I'll be watching for you.
