Turkey bacon may very well have less fat than traditional pork bacon; however, it still has fat.
It is about 74% fat, fairly high in sodium and cholesterol as well.
Some physicians and nutritionists do not recommend eating smoked and/or cured meats, partially due to their higher sodium levels but also because eating foods that are smoked may not be the healthiest options for consumers.
