Just wanted to let you know that we will have a live chat tonight at 6 PM Pacific Daylight Time. It was fun to meet you last week and we'll give her a try again tonight!

I dunno the answer to your question but Unca would know, I'm sure.

I'm not so sure that we would want to necessarily tape these first few events anyway. We're working on getting the bugs out of the system. I think I'm getting the drift in terms of using the "Talk" button so that I don't accidentally cut myself off - there is a delay and I am learning how to time things. Not everyone has a mic so at this point, the participants type questions and comments and I do the blabbage. As time goes by, things will improve!

Im sorry I missed it. I really enjoyed Sunday. Nancy you are just a doll it was great seeing you "in person". Im gonna need a new computer, too hard to compete with my kids to use this one. LOL I'll just have to get a newer, faster one with all the bells and whistles and let the kids have this one. When is the next web meeting? I'll be sure to find something to ground the kids for so I can have computer time :twisted:

Kidding!! ok maybe not.

Interesting isn’t it that just about the time Mom or Dad start getting involved in something juicy on the electronic device that the kidlets suddenly ‘remember’ they have a homework assignment that requires them to get on the computer! :puter:

The Pettit Fam has had some interesting :puterboos:

computer experiences recently, too.

First my lappy died and my iPaq (a handheld computer telephone) croaked the same week.

Terry and Tim did the searching for me and we purchased a new computer and handheld data telephone device for me.

The next week, our favorite* daughter Becky was holding her baby on her lap while she worked on her laptop. 9 month old Nicholas is fast as lightning and he grabbed Becky's quart-size :water:

water bottle from the desk, it dumped onto the keyboard and instantly fried her laptop. :puterboos:

Earlier this week Terry's laptop took a :puterboos:

dive from the TV Tray (Yes, Folks, from a TV Tray!) and the hinge got

harmed, the screen is now dead....

We need maintenance agreements on our lappies!

Biz, we’re glad that you are enjoying the Forum and the Live Chat. It is so much fun for me to meet the MakeMeThinner Folks electronically and telephonically. I feel like we know one another so well and it :boing:

We'll probably be on the air Tuesday nights for a while and we'll see how that goes. I'll pop in and out during the week when I get a chance because some of the peeps work nights!

I'm chat retarded. I've downloaded live meeting, but that's as far as I've gotten. Are there instructions anywhere? I'm NOT gonna get a webcam, but I'd LOVE to watch and listen!
