Tuck it in, NSV!

Postby DonicaB » March 15th, 2007, 9:07 am

Well, today was the first day in over 2 years that I have tucked a shirt in. I thought.....what the heck......I'll give it a try and see how it looks. I was pleasantly surprised.

Not only that........but when I look down I can actually see my belt buckle and not my stomach. :whoohoo:

Congratulations! What a brave step - tucking in. Those shirts over the belly, while not actually fooling anyone, are a big safety net for me. To have your courage!

That's great to hear! :whoohoo:

I wonder if I'll ever see the day that I can see my belt and/or jean buttons without having to look over my cupcakes... I fear I may need surgery to correct that problem though.

Congrats, it's those NSV's that really make a difference IMO. :)

Wow! That is one of the things I'm dreaming of! ;) Yep, shirt tucking.

:D I look at catalogs and look for tunics and other 'flowing' tops. Then I stop myself and think "in a few months I won't ever have to chose that type of top unless *I* want to". Dang, but that is going to be heavenly!!

Congratulations to you! (I agree with Mike......photos?)

You will, it just takes time and a little work.

Congrats onthe tucking in! That is one of the things that I enjoyed at first. Now a tuck in can actually hide my belly with some of my pants that seem to make me have a little overhang. It allows me to tuck in and have some of the shirt stick out and just look loose. Congrats again!

Actually, I'm not going to post any pics until I am half-way to my goal. I actually have beginning photos in the Studio on page 7 from the last time I was here in 2005. I decided not to post any new ones this time around.

I had planned to post pics at mid-way and goal. I'm so looking forward to it. (hitting goal, I mean)
