Well, when I first tried a little taste of my hubby's MF chili, I turned my nose up and said "no thanks"...I even hated the smell.
Well, yesterday, I decided to simmer some chili for hubby so he'd have something when he got home. (he always picked the beans out, because they were too hard, because he refused to simmer it for a little while to let them soften) Anyway, as it was simmering, I noticed the smell of the chili was VERY similar to the smell of the ministrone (which I had just tried that day and loved it.) SO, I asked hubby to let me taste it. I thought, "hmmm, that's not bad". SO, I decided to try it for lunch today. Well, let me tell you, I LOVED IT! (simmered 15 mins over med heat, 6oz water, onion and garlic powder, beef bullion). Crunch up some mf crakers in there and OH BOY...what a treat!
The moral of this story...Yes, tastes really do change. SO, if you hated something before, give it another shot or two. Tweak it with some ideas here on the Lean Cuisine forum. That medifast meal that you used to hate just may become a new favorite
