Did anyone watch this, especially the other "Amazing Race" fans? I loved it, although it was a little hard to follow at first because there were so many people. I loved the twist with the other teams, though.

It reminded me of "Amazing Race" in the beginning, when there were real clues instead of just things telling you where to go next.

Dang, missed it. When's it on and do you know if they will repeat the opener?

I'm into "So you think you can dance" right now. Love that show.

Dogma...I was going to post the same thing!
I did see it..I did like it, but I do think it is a knock off of the Amazing Race..with a twist. I don't think these guys will have to eat any Deep fried crickets! 8)

I am an Amazing Race fan. I watched it and really liked it. I really like the Brown's team and boy I hate to criticism a pastor but did you see the pastor rip the clue right out of that girl's box. :x Don't like him or his wife all that much.

There was a two-hour premiere last night, and apparently after this it will air Monday nights. It doesn't look like they plan to repeat it, unfortunately.

It was a total rip-off of the Race, but like I said, in some ways I liked it better because it was more like the original Race. Lately that show has gotten easier, at least to me, and more into eating crickets than solving clues. I loved that this took a whole lot more than strength and speed and endurance - you actually had to be a little SMART.

And I thought the initial twist was fun. They had five teams of three ... but then it turned out they had five OTHER teams of three who started from a different place. They met up halfway through and found out they were competing against twice as many people as they thought. And so far no one's been really nasty to their team members, which is nice. Usually that starts with the first episode in "Amazing Race." You can always pick out the nasty guy because he says - usually repeatedly - that's he's "intense."

Ah, thank goodness for my fabulous dual-tuner TiVo!! I can get both, since I'm at work Monday nights anyway. I wonder if they'll make the shows available online, Ark.

Oh DogMa, don't even get me started on the Tivo debacle going on in my house. I bought mine about five years ago and bought the $299 lifetime plan for programming. When mine died, last week, I learned that the lifetime plan is only for the life of THAT machine so now I'm out. If I buy a new Tivo, which I very much want with all the new bells & whistles, I have to re-up for the programming fees. Now there is no lifetime plan and the monthly fee is $20. My husband almost fainted. He wants to ship the box off to sony and have it re-furbed so we can keep getting our free programming. Not sure what we're gonna do at this point, but I'm definitely having TIVO withdrawals.

I have that, too, on my first machine. Which still works after I got it as a gift in 2000. I don't use it anymore, though. My brother gave me a series 2 with built-in DVD recorder last year (and they still had lifetime service, so I got it then - but yes, it's for the life of the machine) and a month ago I got the dual-tuner machine (came with one year of free service). They're both networked together and with my computer, which is way cool.

My brother, who works at TiVo (but only for a couple more weeks; he's taken another job), says either they are now or they're about to start basically GIVING you the unit so you'll just have to pay the monthly fee. (I guess that's kind of what they did for my new one, come to think of it.)

I don't have "TiVo". Our local cable company does offer "TiVo" like recording. I have a box. I pay $3 per month for it. I can record all I want. I get digital cable, with 300 plus channels, cable internet, and home digital telephone with unlimited long distance for only $134 a month (taxes and all). Seeing as how our phone bill was running $75 with ma bell, and our regular cable was $60, and our internet was $30 for dial up, I couldn't resist. I really like it. Plus, since I paid for a years worth of service up front, I get unlimited pay per views.

Oooh, the PPV must be nice. But TiVo has extra services, which is why I prefer it to the other DVRs out there. Plus the networking is so cool.

Just finished watching it.....I kept telling my BF different little things about how I would have played "dirty"....I think he thinks I am an insane wild competitor now (which I am).....

Although....what the pastor did was just wrong....grabing the box was one thing....but taking the clue out of her hand....jeez.....

Can't wait till next Monday!!!!
