Uh-Oh!

Hi Everybody!

Well, I am sure that now, it is so much for today's 2# loss.

I cannot believe what I did. I just had my L&G, spinach salad with mushrooms, and Walden Farms Dressing--Right? Until I added, get this, 7oz of Boar's Head Oven Gold Turkey breast to it!!! :x Yikes!!! I want to say that it was a senior moment, even though the goof wasn't intentional. The carb count in this turkey 'serving?!' is 7 grams.

I know this might be a silly question but am I now out of ketosis? No sugar in the meat, by the way. Am I? Geez, looks like I am going to have a 6 supplement day tomorrow! Appreciate any input. Thanks! :|

Joan,

Did you get those numbers off the package?? The calorie counter software I use says that 6 ozs. of Boar's Head OvenGold Roast Turkey Breast has

Calories: 210
Fat: 3.5g
Protein: 45.5 g
Carbs: 0

Did it have the skin on? Although that would only add around 3.5 carbs? Doesn't the L&G allow 10g of Carbs??

Someone that knows the plan better than I must have a more knowledgable answer for you, but it looks to me that the "lean" portion of your meal was okay.

Carmel, thank you!!! Whew!!! I didn't have a package, I had it fresh sliced at the deli. When I went to the Boar's head site, I did see 0 carbs, but then wasn't satisfied and I went looking at another site which gave the 7 carbs. Guess I should have quit while I was ahead--Geez, two senior moments in one day!!!! Not good!!!!! :|

Thank you so much for responding, I appreciate it, Carmel, and I also feel better and thank you for that, too!!!! :D

You're welcome, Joan.

Actually, the numbers I quoted you were for 7 ozs., not 6. So you truly are looking good to go on the turkey breast.
