20 pounds

:D

AND only a pound from the next mini goal!

went to a party last nite that had me a little worried. carry in. gooooood food. i had a bar on the way. by the time we ate it was nearly time for my "meal". just had a little pulled pork and pickles. sort of stayed off to the side and watched the rain while we ate. no one tried to push food on me. :) on the way home it was time for the next shake.

ta da! over. made it.
and this morning the scale is down.

Sudaoning ~

All right! :hi5: High Fiver to you!

Doesn't it feel good inside to know that you 'made it' through an experience like that?

When we can attend a Foody Event and return victorious, it is so empowering. It gives us confidence that we can make it through the next challenge. :yippee:

You made a good choice to have some meat and pickles - very smart to always balance that protein with some veggie/carbs (not BREAD< CRACKERS< CARBS) but some sort of vegetable - like some celery, cucumber, etc.

Your choice of a pickle (vegetable) or two was smart thinking. ;)

Even though you had something salty later in the evening, you came through with a shining reward on your scale.

I find it rather interesting that one can eat late in the evening and still lose weight.

BM (Before Medifast), if I ate in the evening, I always gained. Always.

With MF, the important thing is to eat on time- every three to four hours. When we do, we do not gain.

Suda, you ought to receive another special award because you planned ahead.

You specifically mentioned that you had your bar before you went to the par-tay, then had your good choice meal and a shake sometime afterwards.

Hoola boola! People who plan ahead are successful!

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels, right?

That is GREAT! I'll bet you feel GREAT, right? I mean sometimes if you think too much about it int he moment, you can justify "just two crackers" or some other no-no, but when you just DO IT (stay on plan), then you wake up the next morning, you feel FANTASTIC and like there is no stopping you!
So great to hear how well you did!

Good going, Sudaoning! So glad you're in the next-up "club" now and making all those goal-enhancing choices. That's what's going to take us where we're trying to go, day by day. ;) And in the end, it's what's going to help keep us there. Yeah for you!! Next up, the 30# club for us, after your mini-goal.
