30!

Postby Simmshe » August 13th, 2004, 7:49 am

I finally (okay, not finally, it's only been 30 days) made it to the 30lbs-loss mark :D! My body was being stubborn all week, took four days to drop the 1.5lbs that was keeping me from the 30lb mark.
Anyways, I'm happy and working on patience and not being a scale hawk so much. Four more pounds to my first goal--come on :yippee:!!!

Hope everyone is doing well :D!

Sheryl,

That is so awesome! You will be kissing the 300's goodbye forever so soon. Please be sure to let us know the minute you cross that milestone - major celebrating will need to take place!

Laughing..... 30 in 30? Common, you will be a scale hawk for the entire time you are on this.

MIRACULOUS results….

I think like those Jenny Craig commercials, you know the ones, with a teensy disclaimer at the bottom: "results not typical" ??

Medifast should say: Results ARE typical!

Good for you!

Thank you everyone :D!! Couldn't have done it without you all!

I think I'm going to do cartwheels when I get to the 299lb goal--okay, maybe one cartwheel ;). I attempted to do a cartwheel a few years ago, at a similar weight to what I am now, and it wasn't easy (and it shouldn't be easy for a 300lb+ person to do a cartwheel)! I have played peek-a-boo with the 200s and 300s for several years now. I think this is my third time in the past four years of having been below 300lbs only to slowly go beyond this weight--I was just there last year (285lbs)! That's history now, I know.

And like you said Sylvia--kissing the 300s goodbye FOREVER this time!! You all will hear me screaming when I say "adios" to the 300s!

Thanks again you guys--and keep up the good work everyone :D!

And kudos to you Camille for standing firm with your monthly weigh ins--I'm like crazy glue with my scale sometimes--I'm getting better though!

Thanks Nancy and Susanna :)!

I love your posts, too, Susanna--you have fun, positive energy :)!

You're right Nancy, I have to choose wisely everyday--and I do (althought it hasn't been easy a few times). The thing with me and succeeding with things is dependant upon whether I'm faithful in the beginning stages. Once I get started and committed with anything that was very difficult for me to begin and stick with it (exercising, for example), and get over the hump of difficulty, I go all the way. I get stronger and more focused the longer I go, and this is happening with me following my Medifast plan--it keeps getting better and more effortless everyday :)!

Good grief! 30 in 30?!?! How good are YOU!

I can't even put into words how wonderful that is, Sheryl. It's just absolutely downright amazing!

Bring up the orchestra! Light the fireworks! Cue the marching band! Radio the jets for the flyover! You deserve them all.

You da woman!
