Hi, my name's Rochelle, I'm 28. This is my first time here. Wow! MF sounds like it might work for me. I'm at my highest weight ever(240/250). I've yo-yo dieted my whole life and have never been able to keep weight off. I had my third child in Sept. and I'm ready to feel better :D ! I was cosidering LapBand surgery but it's pretty drastic. I have an appointment tomorrow with my PCP I'm gonna see what he suggests. Well, just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi!

Yes, as of today! So it definitely works! It took me a while to realize I had to follow the rules, which are pretty simple, but once I did, things got a lot easier. I would highly recommend Medifast.

Hi Rochelle

MediFast really works. Just look through these boards and you will find living proof everywhere.

I lost 45 lbs 3 years ago and kept 30 off. Now I am back to lose more because I KNOW it works...and it is so simple.

You will find lots of great people here willing to travel the road with you.

May I suggest you try Medifast before surgery? The surgery option will still be available in a few months if you decide to go that route.

Whatever you decide I wish you good health and a happy journey!
Reached Goal Nov 2007 61.5 lbs lost
Gained 11 lbs in Mexico 3/08, decided to lose that along with another 5 lbs!

Well I want to be able to say "Welcome Aboard". So give medifast and this forum a try before the lapband. You will not regret it. Either way, good luck but we would be glad to have you.

Welcome Rochelle. I am also a newbie who was considering lap band. I'm on my fourth day and I really love the products. I've decided to try MF instead of the surgery and I feel great so far!!

I'm not an expert in the procedure but my sister had it done and yes she has lost 125 pounds but it is not an easy choice. If possible try MF first, you can always go the other route but this has to easier then having that surgery. Best of luck to you whatever you decide.

Welcome Rochelle!

See what your doc says, but I agree with others...the lapband surgery will be there in a few months should you decide to take that route, but I have a friend that has had it done and the road is not easy and she is still not where she wants to be.

Whatever you decide, I wish you health and happiness!

Hi Rochelle

Just keeping up with 3 boys is hard work in itself. The Medifast is a great way to lose weight and keep up with the boys activities. Good luck to you.
