My tip for getting the recommended amount of water is this. I have a few large plastic drinking glasses and when I measured them out, they each hold about 24 oz of water. So I mentally count and figure 3 a day is my minimum (which = 72oz). I rarely drink more than that, but sometimes my intake will get up to around 80 oz. But those cups were a lifesaver. My regular drinking glasses hold about 16 oz and I was forever losing track of how many I had already had, etc.
3 a day works for me!
