Too much protein - what do I do?

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I just wanted to eat a pizza and wallow on the couch. I had to keep reminding myself that I've lost 18 pounds and I feel great. I just wanted some comfort food so badly.

Anyhow, today I was still just SO wanting something more - so I ate about 8 oz of grilled salmon. I think it should have been 5 oz but I was just dying.

My question/concern is...did I completely screw this up? Can I do anything to alleviate it? Has anyone else ever eaten more protein than they should have?

Please supply me with some feedback. Thanks everyone!

it really won't matter, aside from the extra fat and calories. just try to limit over-indulgences.

If you have to chose between pizza and extra lean of your L & G meal?? You made a good choice.

It shouldn't hurt you too much ... just as has already been said .. a little heavy on the fat and most likely the caloric intake for the day. That said ... we used to eat 7 oz of salmon on the old guideline ... so if you had to "splurge" that wasn't soooo bad.

Thank you all, I will try not to do it again but it's nice to have your feedback and support. And yes, it was better than eating a pizza!
