I've got 6.3ozs of Gorton's Grilled Salomon on the oven and 1 1/2 cups of Italian green beans in the micro-wave :chef:
All I have to do is season to taste.

Sounds Good

Mmm! Sounds good, Fuelman!

I bet you will enjoy!

I think you could even have a little more salmon next time. I think we get 7oz. and I think that is cooked weight (it shrinks during cooking a little).

I'm having a bowl of oatmeal--it just sounded good to me.

The Salomon was Fantastic! I spiced it up with Mrs. Dash Smoked spice and just some salt & pepper with the beans.

Salmon is a great occasional lean. I say occasional though as it is fattier than other fishes, just as a heads up. Great Omegas though!

For a delicious salmon and veggie recipe, I strongly urge you all to try this, if you desire, it is AMAZING!!!!! Also very very easy to prepare.

As brought to you by the Naked Chef (aka jamie Oliver...and no girls, he isnt really naked, that would be dangerous around hot appliances. At any rate, I digress...but it is fun. Ahem.)

Preheat oven to its highest possible setting. For me, this is 550 degrees. Also, place cooking dish inside oven to preheat as well. Works best with a glass or ceramic dish, as metal can sometimes buckle due to the heat.

While oven and bakeware are preheating, spray both sides of your salmon (with the skin on) lightly with Pam cooking spray. Season with your choice of spices ( Too many to choose from to state, simple salt and pepper is delicious or you could use a pepper blend, Mrs. dash etc.). place your choice of fresh vegetables (medifast approved, of course) in a bowl and spray lightly with Pam and apply spices liberally. Toss to mix.

When oven and bakeware have preheated, place salmon skin side down on one side of the dish with vegetables on the other side, Squeeze some fresh lemon juice over all of it, close oven door and set timer for 12 minutes.

Voila, complete dinner, ready for your enjoyment. With the bakeware that hot, the skin remains on the pan when you dish out the salmon.

Again, I advise you do this fully clothed, 550 degrees is HOT!

Medifast or not, this is my favorite way to prepare salmon.

Enjoy!

Ok I have to ask, if the skin remains on the pan when you serve, how much work is involved in removing the skin from the dish when cleaning...

:)

I don't like doing dishes :)

heh...actually, no work at all. the pan is hot enough that it just crispy fries the skin and prior to cleaning, take your spatula or flipper and it just scrapes off, presto magic-o!
