Uh, YEAH, I guess you can say you broke your plateau! That's fantastic! Your weight is falling off! I bet when you get to St Kitts, nobody will be able to find you when you turn sideways!

I also want to take a road trip with Shana and rub you like a buddha for good wight loss luck/karma! You don't mind do you?

I did 5 and 1 and increased my water to 132 oz to break the plateau.

My boyfriend will not recognize me in St.Kitts!

132 ounces a day? Well... I was just posting about how the more water I drink, the faster I lose. Now that I've heard about your success, I think I'll just hook myself up to an IV. hah! That is an amazing loss. Congratulations girl! 8)

WOW!! So you finally bought a scale! See and you were worried that you weren't losing any weight! You had nothing to worry about!! 18 lbs lost between weigh ins is amazing! Is that in one week? I'm stunned. :)

I went without 2 weeks with no scale. I still can't tell the difference on myself, but my co-workers can!

Hi Lise,
I've been up all night thinking about this...40lbs in ONE MONTH? That's 10lbs a week! That's unreal! You're kicking even the men's heinies!

I'm kind of the worrywart on the site, so I wanted to check on you. Do you feel okay? Are you getting all your supplements in? Do you have a health advisor? Have you seen your doc since you started? Basically, ARE YOU OKAY? I'm thrilled with your losses and I'm SURE you are too, I just wanted to make sure you're okay.

You started at 275, right? Now you're at 235? People may assume my post is just raging green jealousy, but it's not. I've been following all your posts with great interest and it looks/sounds like you're doing everything right...plus you're totally supportive. I'm just making sure YOU'RE OKAY! You either have the kind of metabolism you should bottle and sell on ebay or...you're okay, right?

I am fine! I eat all my supplements and drink a lot of water. I didn't realize I had lost that much until I weighed myself because a lot of my clothes, namely tops, have not changed sizes at all. In pants, I am 14-16 since my 18's are hanging off me. I have some small clothes that still don't fit me, but I think once I lose a lot more inches, the weight loss will be more evident. Just now I weighed myself (was over at my parents) and it looks like I have lost more weight, although I can't tell.

I went looking at formal dresses today and I am still the same size but I know that a lot of my weight loss was water and I lost a lot of the weight in my arms and face and in my thighs. I'm hoping to lose a lot more on my stomach since that is when I know that my body will be more proportional. That is where most of my weight is concentrated but I think by time I reach 190 I will be more proportional and will start to look good. My upper body is the part of my body I can't stand since it's where all my weight is.

I usually lose a lot of weight very fast in the beginning and then it slows down to a crawl. I have a feeling that I will drop to 190 and then it will take a long time to get to 155.

Hope this answers your questions!

Yes,
Thanks for putting my tenny little mind at ease! I also hold a TON of weight in my upper half! I'm hoping to be more proportional as well!

Sorry if I was being a nag or a worrywart. I didn't mean any harm. Please don't take it as so! I'm very happy for you!
